Did you know why the messages from the Lord were so rare while the boy Samuel served Eli? God intentionally created a vacuum, an empty space. This was because Samuel needed to understand that God’s purpose for a person keeps him in the seat, not the title.
“Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.”Psalms 119:105 NLT
The word of God brings guidance and clarity, revealing that during this time of emptiness, Israel experienced a great lack of direction. What a tragic thing it is when a generation is left without the word of God, especially when their only source of hearing it was through Eli, the high priest and priest of Israel. All these hardships came because God rejected Eli, and even the Israelites were made to suffer for it. Eli was the primary channel through whom God’s word was delivered, and without him faithfully fulfilling his role, the nation was left spiritually adrift and vulnerable.
You see, this same thing is happening in many churches today. The office of the General Overseer or pastors has been left vacant, and instead of hearing God’s message, we often hear messages from man. And we fail to realize we are the Samuel generation I mean Gods secret investment, instead we mock the leaders , criticizing their every mistake. Are we not failing God?
The void you see in the world today, the lapses in your church, your relationships, your work, and other areas, is not shown to you so you can criticize. It is shown so you can know the spaces you are meant to faithfully and prayerfully fill. God cannot be blamed for these gaps.
Start the repair ministry today and be part of filling those spaces with God’s purpose and presence.
