We live in times of so much knowledge but with little wisdom. We live in a time where speed, popularity, beauty, class, and exposure are equated with success, and the application of knowledge is at a bare minimum. We are busy with stock trends, fashion, education, and socializing, forgetting we are not of this world. We want our social handles to grow at all costs, while our spirit cries for help without being heard. The Bible warns in Romans 12:2,
'Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.'
The renewal and revival we need is in God's word, inspired by His Spirit. However, Christians have conformed to worldly patterns and routines. You're so busy you hardly have time for prayer and Bible study on a personal level. Eventually, when you finally get to church, you're busy chatting away the time, so much so that you don't even remember what was taught. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:14-16,

'Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.'

Awaken, youths! Awaken, adults! Awaken, children! It's time to awaken to the nudging of the Spirit of God. Awaken to fellowship so that you can be sensitive again to discern by the Spirit of God, not moved to and fro by the wind of doctrine of men! Awaken! Redeem the time, for the Bridegroom is coming (Jesus)! Don't be foolishly dozing with no oil in your lamp. Redeem the time, for the days are evil. The perilous times are here; the rumors of war that Jesus spoke about are in your very sight. Awake! The time is ticking, and our Messiah is near. He will come again. Redeem the time; don't be carried away, leaving your relationship and fellowship with God for things that won't matter at eternity.

Arise, and let Christ be your light! Technology is good, but it shouldn't steal your prayer time and Bible study altar. It shouldn't make you compromise your faith. Deuteronomy 2:3 says, 'You have compassed this mountain long enough; turn you northward.' It's time to move forward, stop being busy around a mountain when God is saying, 'Leave the routine and come up higher, come to purpose fulfillment, move northward (move ahead), win souls, grow in Christ, grow in fruit and evidence of the Holy Spirit, take strong meat... redeem the time.'
